Peaks absorbed where kilowatts cost the most

Industrial buildings and processes, data centres, thermal storage for heat pumps, process heat and photovoltaics. One panel, many configurations.

1 · The problem

Roofs that burn, systems that never switch off

In industrial buildings the metal roof becomes a hot plate: in summer the air under the roof exceeds 50 °C and the air conditioning runs all day. In data centres every kilowatt taken away from the racks is one more kilowatt of cooling. In processes with heat, dissipation is a continuous cost. Everywhere, the peaks size the plant.

Industrial buildings and offices

Comfort 28 under the roof, reflective face towards the sheeting: the peak stops before it gets in, the energy that passes is released at night. In an example on 1,500 m² treated: −30% HVAC consumption, €18,000 a year saved plus €1,500 less maintenance, payback in about 6 years.

Data centres

Comfort 23 panels in the ceiling above the server halls and TI-SKIN blankets on the racks: thermal peaks are absorbed before they reach the compressors, which run lighter and with fewer cycles.

Thermal storage and heat pumps

The core as the thermal flywheel of the plant: it stores in the cheap hours and gives back at the peaks. With TI-CONTROL (closed-loop thermal management) the building-plant system adjusts in real time: −30% heating energy, −20% for hot water, −40% electricity for running the plant.

Process heat: TI-SKIN Heat 48 coming soon

For industries that must hold temperatures well above comfort: fermentation, distillation, food preparation, dryers. The reflective layer facing the hot elements keeps the losses inside the system.

Photovoltaics: TI-Skin Solar coming soon

A TI-SKIN layer under the photovoltaic modules lowers their operating temperature: the modules yield more in the hot hours (Politecnico di Milano study, +6.84% measured). The proof, not the promise.

TI-SOLUTIONS: the integrated system

TI-SKIN for the envelope, TI-WATER for water (no limescale or biofilm, −30% waste), TI-CONTROL for regulation. Together: up to 50% overall savings, 2 to 6 years' amortisation, access to Italian incentives (Conto Termico, white certificates).
